Cyclone Remal — West Bengal Disaster Response
Cyclone Remal has left a trail of devastation across parts of West Bengal, displacing hundreds of families and destroying homes, livelihoods, and essential infrastructure. Entire communities are facing immense hardship as heavy rains, strong winds, flooding, and widespread damage continue to impact daily life.
Many families have lost everything and are now struggling to access basic necessities such as food, clean water, shelter, and medical assistance. Vulnerable groups, including children, the elderly, and those already living in poverty, are among the hardest hit.
Our Calcutta Mercy teams are actively responding on the ground, working tirelessly to provide emergency relief to affected communities. Relief efforts currently include the distribution of hot meals, emergency food supplies, medical care, clean drinking water, hygiene essentials, and temporary shelter for displaced families.
As recovery efforts continue, we humbly ask for your prayers during this difficult time. Please pray for the safety and strength of affected families, protection for relief workers, and hope for communities as they begin the long process of rebuilding their lives.
If you are able, please consider giving generously to support emergency relief efforts. Your kindness and support can help provide immediate care and hope to families facing unimaginable loss.
Together, we can stand with the people of West Bengal in their time of greatest need.
