In 1954, Huldah with her husband and baby daughter, sailed from the US to Calcutta for a one-year mission commitment. That one year turned into 60 years, as Huldah founded Calcutta Mercy to provide the best care and services to the poor. Read more about Huldah’s journey here.
Dr. Randy Valimont
Randy has served nearly 20 years as a Senior Pastor, holding a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministry and three doctorates. He has a passion for service and sits on the Boards of several organizations. Randy joined Calcutta Mercy in 2010 to lead our programs, improve sustainability, and maximize our impact in Calcutta.
Director of Public Relations
Danielle holds a degree in Public Relations and Journalism, and a Masters in Organizational Leadership. In 2008, Danielle visited Calcutta Mercy in India for the first time where she coordinated volunteers for nine months. Her years of experience serving those in need worldwide has brought her to her current role as our Director of Public Relations.
Director of Finance
D’Ann first learned about Calcutta Mercy Ministries during a church service led by Dr. Randy Valimont. She fell in love with Calcutta Mercy’s mission and vision after reading Huldah’s books and watching videos from the field. Her vast knowledge and experience in financial matters makes her a vital contributor to the success of our programs.
Director of Volunteers
Heather became acquainted with Calcutta Mercy as a teenager when Huldah Buntain spoke at her home church in Colorado. She has since advocated for the poor of Calcutta and helps others do the same as our Director of Volunteers.
Bethany is a graduate of Pepperdine University and serves as a freelance writer for a variety of companies and charitable organizations. In 2009, she traveled to Calcutta where she witnessed firsthand our programs to help the underprivileged. Since 2007, she has helped spread the word about our work.
